VIVO’s Vision Explorer Edition Mixed Reality Headset made its official debut in China today. It is the first MR headset of the company and is now monopoly in China. Price and availability details are not yet disclosed.
Vivo Vision Explorer Edition Headset features a small and light design. It weighs 398g, is 83mm in height and 40mm thick. It gets a mirror finishing front visor with a lot of cameras and sensors for tracking.
Users can switch four light blocking shields, featuring form padding. The headset is designed for comfort and the other is provided with two other straps to add stability. VIVO’s new MR headset shares its similarities with its competitor Apple Vision Pro.
Dual 8K micro-all-red pair glasses displays are provided with 3840 x 3552 pixel resolutions, respectively. The display covers 94 %of the DCI-P3 color area. The headset also provides dio -supporting support using its own lens.
The display is claimed to provide an 180 walker that supports spatial audio. It provides 120 -inch screen and supports hand gestures with eye tracking that can be easily searched.
Vivo Vision Explorer Edition is run by SnapDragon XR2+ Gen 2 SOC and run Originos Vision out of the box. It is also available with Vivo’s Blue Ocean Power Management system, which says it extends the battery life.
13ms waiting time, space video playback and MR/PCVR game title support the full color pass. VIVO has not provided price or availability details, but interested users can test headsets in 12 Vivo Experience regions in China from August 22.
