The video game industry in India welcomed a new government legislation that officially separated video games and esports from Real Money Gaming, Betting and Gambling Platform.

For many years, Indian developers and esports organizers have argued that they are grouped into money games. Some industry leaders still have additional notes about the government, but the bill deals with concerns.

Oldier Games’ CEO Harish Chengaiah was overdue. “For the past two years, the single demand for the Indian video game industry has been recognized and classified as an online money game, not a club. The proposed bill was finally satisfied and thanked to the Indian government.” Chengaiah led the government to lead the government when he previously submitted a letter calling for a video game company. Clearly distinguishes “video game” and “Real Money Games”.

Chengaiah also urged three modifications.

  • First, replace “online social game” for “video game” to match the terms used around the world.
  • KThe EEP regulations are still small in the local market and are currently adhering to international age rating systems such as IARC.
  • Code 58203 is classified together with money games, creating a separate NIC category for video games.

Akshat Rathee, co -founder of Nodwin Gaming, praised Esports’s recognition but reported language problems. “The intention to recognize and promote the government’s e -sports,,, As recently emphasized in the bill It is a encouraging stage. However, in order for this vision to be truly realized, there must be differences in terms used in the bill, especially esports, online games, online social games and online money games. Clearly defined and uniformly understood. Because there is no accurate definition, there is often an ambiguity and confusion about the term ‘esports’. ”

Revenant Esports CEO Rohit N Jagasia added that the difference between Esports, video and money games is essential for reliability. “When a detailed clause is released, we can have a clear meaning of that meaning. But as an international esports leader, India can express the beginning of the rise.”

Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) supported the bill by promoting safe and community -oriented digital entertainment and protecting users from financial risks. “This clarity provides a constructive basis for structured growth of this sector.

ESFI (ESPORTS FEDERATION OF INDIA) vice president of Lokesh Suji called this “breakthrough decision” that puts esports in a pedestal like traditional sports. “This bill provides a great position on our efforts over the years by forming esports and distinguishing them from online games.”

The industry also linked the bill to creative growth. Vishal Gondal, co -founder of NCORE GAMES, said RMG Banning said, “We will protect youth and make it in Indian games while unlocking the future of Indian games driven by original IP and creativity.” DOT9GAMES CEO Deepak AIL revered emotions as follows:

Aftermath Ventures CEO Mansoor “NABU” Ahmed said that the government’s movements help to provide “legitimacy” to esports, and the player can create a space where the organization can grow while focusing on “do my best: performance.”

Ginger Games CEO Sumit Batheja added that the studio can change attention again to key business issues such as profit generation and maintenance. More importantly, “This is to be able to focus on building a great IP for India and the world.
