Earlier this week, we were lucky enough to head to the Nintendo booth of Gamescom. Practice With ~ Elden Ring: Discolored Edition On Switch 2. Bandai Namco could not record the video in the handheld session (and we saw why, but the recording rules in Canada didn’t seem to be in place. Fan ExpoIt was allowed to record the shoulders of the demo that started yesterday and docked.
One visitor, MDee14It recorded the video of the entire play session and shared it online, and showed the first appearance of how this worked when the switch 2 came on the big screen. Fortunately, it looks better than handheld products.
The video shows the entire preview session of the attendees, from the opening tutorial section to the initial search around Limgrave. Performance seems to be far from what is expected to be seen in the PS5. pretty Well, a noticeable drop occurs in a large sequence like the opening of the Limgrave Gate. Otherwise, keep in mind that the situation looks good, but this kind of shoulder video is not always the best way to see all small details.
I heard a very different story with HandHeld’s game. The docked mode seems to be a way to use this (at least all builds in the current expo) because our handheld play has been suffering from heavy frame drop and thinly a-lection.
We are still waiting for the release date of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, but we hope that the performance will not take long enough to wait before it actually speeds up.
