Earlier this year, when we started a new brand identity, I said simple words.
“We are not just changing us. We show who we are.”
Then I meant it. And today, with the release of the pair phone (GEN. 6), I can show what it looks like and the exact reason why it is important. This is more than a new product. Everything we have built is the moment when we focus.

I have been with FAIRPHONE since Fairphone 2 was released. At that time, we were terrible and ideal and focused on one question.
Can you make a different smartphone?
How it works -how it was made, why it was made, and what it means. With a pair phone we still have the clearest answer. It is the most sophisticated version of everything we believe and all the versions we have learned. You can see it in the design, feel it as a material, and listen to the voices around you. There is no compromise on experience, longevity or influence.
It means adding intentions because innovation does not mean more to us. Do not chase the trend. We do not add functions for that. It’s just designing what people actually need. And what we repeatedly heard in our community is:
They want the phone to take less space.
In their pockets. And in their head.
So we physically created the idea. And here there are places where “conversion to a pair phone” becomes a letter in many ways.

We are focusing more. More consistent. I have more confidence in how we appear in the world. We have not escaped our mission. We have included it in all details. And using a pair phone, you can feel it with precision, redemption, and sharpness. Not only the phone itself, but also everything around you. Sustainable technologies do not need to be presented on their own. It is beautiful, stable, and just paying attention behind all choices.
That’s a real change.
We are not “fairest” in the broken industry. We are here to show what is possible when the value is leading inside.
